Aidan Robinson

MEng in materials engineering (University of Leeds)

2nd year D.Phil Student

Aidan is researching the stability of bubble lattices found in irradiated materials using atom probe topography and TEM with an in-situ ion accelerator. Under specific temperatures and radiation dosage, bubbles form within the material on the micro-scale, potentially causing failure of the material. He aims are to develop a proper understanding of the mechanisms that drive this phenomenon.
